Richard and Chelsey: 4th of July and Reunion

We took a trip up to utah to see tory for the 4th of july. the kids loved it. we had lots of fun. the whole way up tucker kept asking, are these the utah mountains, are we in utah yet. it took forever but it was worth the trip. every time we gave the kids a snack they would save a bite or two and say, "i want to save these to eat at tory's house" can you tell that they were excited. when we started the drive it was about nap time so we thought great they will sleep the first couple of hours. wrong, we had to make them go to sleep. they were way to excited. even though i heard are we there yet a million times it was well worth it to spend the weekend with tory. we got to utah about 5am utah time. we were tired and it was a scary last hour of driving as we both were so tired. but we managed to get up in time to see part of a great parade. much better than we have ever seen. them we ate breakfast at tory's house. then we went to a park to let the kids get some energy out. when tory had to go to work we went back to star's house to take a nap. we tried to go shopping at the mall and they closed at 6 pm. so we went to tory's work and were able to have her serve us and eat with us. everyone at her work was so nice. her boss said that we could sit on the grass to watch the fireworks so we got out some blankets and played while we waited. while we were sitting there waiting, the sprinklers came on and got us all wet. so we tried to find a different spot to watch them. after spending time with tory we headed down for an ellsworth family reunion at gooseberry. it was so much fun and the kids had lots of cousins to run around with. hayden i think was the bully of all the kids. my sister overheard a conversation between some girls about hayden hitting them. i guess he has little man syndrome. he can be very mean at time and then really sweet. we had so much fun spending time with family. i didn't want to come back to life but oh well. here are a few pictures from our trip.
